Opening the black box of epigenetic biomarkers
Many tests read one flat slice of biology. Our approach goes beyond SNPs and DNA methylation patterns to map the active epigenetic zones where genes are switched on and off, and to follow how they change over time.
Read the switches, not just the code.
Sequence-level tests see which letters you carry. Methylation-only tests add one chemical mark. Gene activity, though, is set by layers working together: histone modifications, how open or closed chromatin is, and how all of it shifts with time and lifestyle.
Our approach reads those layers together, as a functional chromatin state, to find the active epigenetic zones behind a biomarker.
